English Democrats

Graham Dare was a London Councillor 1998-2002 and had many successes such as getting unanimous support for his motion supporting fairtrade due to the effect the EC Agricultural policy has on food prices. He also got cross party praise for his 9/11 speech, and got many letters from residents thanking him for his support with local issues.
He is a school governor, and Community Panel Chair of the Youth Offending Team in London.
He believes the congestion charge should allow 3 days for payment, before a fine is issued, and does not support further trams in London.
Hello Graham,
Firstly can I thank you for attending our Election Hustings meeting. I hope you found the experience positive. The feedback I got from a fair representative selection of the audience at the local pub afterwards was that you presented much better than the Conservative, Labour AND Independent candidates. And though they thought that Dean (the Green Party candidate) did a fairly good presentation AND had some reasonable policies he is known as a local councillor for this ward and the feeling was that he does not have what it takes for the job of Mayor.
I do not have a full list of all the hustings which have taken place or still to take place. I certainly know of two others locally that you may not have attended (the Ladywell hustings last Wednesday and the Lewisham Pensioners Forum last Tuesday). I have no contact details for the Sally Army Hustings, my wife took a phone call from them yesterday morning but they did not leave a name, the only details I have are: The Salvation Army Catford, 25 Brownhill Road, London SE6 2HE 020 8461 2811
